Cannes Lions is one of WARC’s sister companies under Ascential. WARC had a content stream at the 2024 festival called Creative Impact. I planned and executed the entire social media strategy 2024, beginning with Mark Ritson’s video in my second week in the role.

Speaker launches - pre-festival

To make the best use of collaboration with each speaker, I treated them like influencers and created scripts and videos with their specific audience in mind. This helped me to get buy-in from the speakers, who did these videos for free, and to experiment with tone and style in my brand-new role. Here is a selection of my favourites:

During the festival

David T’s Daily Tea was a new concept that fulfilled my overall social strategy for WARC - making the content more human and engaging. David Tiltman and I recorded a video of the festival every day, and I posted the final version as soon as it was edited. In the afternoons, I recorded a video with another Editor, Anna Hamill, to promote the daily podcasts we recorded onsite at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
